Presa began in 2022 as the personal project of Samuel Fonseca. Now reborn as a quartet, the band has evolved into a form of visceral, angular rock that draws from cubist blues as much as from punk and No Wave. What started as a twisted solo experiment has transformed into an ambitious group, reminiscent of a contemporary and determined version of The Bad Seeds. Samuel now stands as a modern crooner — feverish and honest — supported by a band in full command of their vision and completely committed to it.
