Los Yolos – "Inadvertido", a video by Pilar Gost
After Rock Ciudad and Nos siguen por delante, Volumen 3 confirmed what had already become clear: Los Yolos belong to that small tradition of bands that gradually build a universe of their own. While much of today's punk seems obsessed with image or nostalgia, their songs continue to carve out a path entirely their own.
"Inadvertido", one of the standout tracks from Volume 3, now gets its own music video. If the band's third album cemented a musical language that had been taking shape for years—one where new wave, melodic punk and power pop come together without ever becoming an exercise in revivalism—"Inadvertido" holds a special place within the record.
The video was directed by Pilar Gost and filmed at Ciclorama (Barcelona), with hair and makeup by Allison Caranton. Featuring Stefano Statti, Raúl Páez, Blai Subirats, Daniel Ruiz and Joan Payarés.
